Bio
My name is Destiny Menendez, and I am 17 years old and getting ready to start my senior year of high school. Soccer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as a game I loved playing with friends has grown into a passion that has shaped who I am today. Outside of soccer, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying active, and being involved in my school and community. My family has always been my biggest support system, encouraging me to pursue my dreams and reminding me to stay humble and grateful along the way.

Why This Matters
I play competitive soccer as a midfielder and forward. My role is to contribute to my team's success through hard work, communication, and dedication while supporting my teammates and representing my club with pride. My biggest athletic achievement this year has been earning the opportunity to compete at a higher level. This event means a great deal to me because it gives me the opportunity to challenge myself, compete against talented athletes, and continue pursuing my passion for soccer. It is a chance to showcase the hard work I have put into the sport and create memories and experiences that will help shape my future both as an athlete and as a young adult. I am proud to be part of my school, soccer club, and local community. Through soccer, I have built lasting friendships and learned the importance of giving back, supporting others, and representing my community with integrity.
